I will dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
